Another VICTOR winner at the AKC National Champion

May 15, 2019 | KATHY LORMIS

We had another VICTOR winner at the 2018 AKC National Championship in Orlando, FL! Annie, a Wirehaired Vizsla owned and bred by Kathy and Roy Lormis, won Best of Opposite Sex and Best of Breed Best Bred By Exhibitor—her third year in a row winning this prestigious award! Annie is also the youngest Wirehaired Vizsla to win AKC Championship and AKC Grand Championship.

Throughout her showing career, Annie has won several awards, including:

  • Multiple Best in Show and Group Placing International Champion
  • UKC Champion
  • AKC #1 All Systems Bitch in 2016

Annie comes from a line of winners. Her nephew Lucas was the first AKC National Puppy Champion of the Year for 2017, and her mother and father are AKC Grand Champions. AKC gives a special medallion to the first 10 dogs of a breed to win the title of Grand Champion, and with Annie and her parents, the Lormises have won three of those medallions.

Kathy and Roy are AKC Breeders of Merit and members of the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T Program. Their dogs are fueled by VICTOR Professional and VICTOR Hi-Pro Plus.
